About Us

HISTORY

The Toronto Shamrocks Hockey Club is an amateur hockey organization based in Toronto, ON. We are a proud member of the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL). The Toronto Shamrocks were established in 2013 after the then president Mike McCarron rebranded the club from its previous name, Toronto Penguins Hockey Club.

Today, we continue to provide a “Best in Class” youth hockey program that supports all participants in reaching their full potential on and off the ice and promotes character, community, and academic success.  We offer some of the most sought after clinics including power skating and skills development.

The Shamrocks operate as a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting and providing organized minor hockey for youths within the GTA community. Our organization currently fields teams in the A and AA categories and play in the GTHL’s East Region.

We are proud to offer opportunities for everyone to play Canada’s game.
